The group continues to meet every month to discuss and take action on the proposals set out in the way forward document. The group has grown since last year and has 10-12 members who represent various different organisations in the town as well as the town council. Currently the way forward group is supporting the council in producing a rural housing survey for the town. It is hoped that the survey will help to identify the need within the town for housing and be used as part of the parish plan which the town council is beginning to put together. At the moment the group has discussed the survey with Gloucestershire Rural Community Council and is in the process of finalising the questions for the survey. It is hoped that this will be out to all households in the town within the next 2 months.
