Apologies to any visitors

As a normal resident of Campden I would just like to apologise to any visitor who may have stumbled upon our local advertising rag the Chipping Campden Bulletin Feb 2009.

I would like to assure you that as it may seem like we are all  borderline racists obsessed in minor planning breaches, the majority of us are not.

It is just unfortunate that a free advertising paper like this is allowed to print such rubbish putting Campden in a bad light.

This magazine gives us all hours of pleasure. We wait eagerly for its delivery. It’s the most entertaining magazine we have ever seen. Keep it up!!

I am a “normal resident” too and thoroughly enjoy Jeremy Green’s excellent editorship of the Bulletin. He usually publishes opposing points of view so why not try asking him to publish yours. His cutoff date is 17 January for the February edition.

I find it incredible that Panida describes him/herself as a normal resident of Campden. I was born here over more years ago than I can remember and I am longing to meet a normal resident. All the residents I hve ever met are exceptional! (Mad as a box of frogs most of them but none the less exceptional)

Panida describes him/herself as a “Normal Resident” of Campden. Where is this rare being?? Campden residents are Colourful, Excentric and Exceptional even. Often we are as mad as a box of frogs but never in all my many years have I met a normal one. Show yourself fair person and let us celebrate.

    Dear Panida

Please note the spelling errors in your subject heading : there is just one “p” and just one “i” in “apologies”. Visitors to the town site may have spotted this, and it may put Campden “in a bad light”, if I may borrow your expression.

    Dear Clive

The spelling in the title was done to provoke a reaction. It was needed to highlight the comment on a very slow blog. The correct spelling is shown on the first line of the text. Please direct your concern to the site editor who will be able to amend the title. If you really feel it puts Campden in a bad light it is a pity you did not raise it four months ago when you posted your first comment.

    Kind regards

    Panida
