Marathon for Mental Health

Winter is a testing time for families affected by the invisible but devastating scourge of mental illness.

For a lot of people there is a stigma attached to the subject, and it almost seems  taboo to draw attention to it. But the harsh reality is that over the course of our lives 1 in 4 of us will have experience of some form of mental illness, either ourselves or within our family. That has been the case for me, which is why I am helping to raise funds for the Mental Health charity Mind, by running in the London Marathon.
