At the tourist information centre in Chipping Campden we provide the following services:

• Give free leaflet space to attractions.
• Keep a list of shop’s and businesses locally.
• Put up posters for local events.
• Send out Town Guides advertising Campden and District amenities.
• Answer Email enquiries.
• Answer Phone Enquiries.
• Sell tickets for local events.
• Give out and advise on bus and rail timetables (show people how to read them)
• Produce an annual Town Guide.
• Answer a wide variety of questions, usually “where is…”, “where can I…”, “How do I get to….”  
• “How long will it take to….”, “How much is…”,
• Take calls from coach companies requesting advice.
• Listen to complaints and pass them on as appropriate.
• Act as booking agent for Police Station rooms.
• Fax and copying Service.
• Service retail shop supplying maps/walking guides/books/gifts etc…
• Act on behalf of Peelers Trust for enquiries relating to The Old Police Station.
• Provide an accommodation placement service for visitors to the Town.
• Co-ordinating the Town’s official website.
• Lost and Found service.
• Give out information sheets on local taxi’s, caravan & camping sites, horse riding, fishing, what to do on a rainy day, etc……..

This is not a comprehensive list by any means and you would never believe how diverse the

questions that we are asked can be.  We are committed to encouraging people to visit

Campden and its district and to help them get the most out of their experience.  Please remember

we are not a profit making organisation and we cannot cover costs without grant support and

fund raising activities.
