Chipping Campden Town Council is the “Sole Managing Trustee” of the Playing Field and Recreation Ground Charity – (a Charity registered with the Charity Commission).
The Recreation Ground has been fully refurbished and was re-opened in October 2010. It now boasts a brand new 0 – 8 years play area, 8 -13 play area and teen area. The total project cost to date has been £188,000 excluding VAT. The vast majority of this money was raised from government and private grants and fundraising activities undertaken by the people of Chipping Campden.
The Council’s sincerest thanks must go to Ken Wilkins who has project managed the entire project and without his dedication and expertise the project could not have been realised.
