Welcome

Welcome to the official website of Chipping Campden Town Council.  The Council is responsible for providing a number of facilities within the Town including the allotments on Aston Road and the Cemetery at West End Terrace.  It is also responsible for the maintenance of St James Churchyard and is a statutory consultee on planning applications that are made to Cotswold District Council. 

The Council meets on the second Tuesday and every month in the Town Hall in the High St, and all its meetings are open to the public and include a public question time.  To enable the Council to meet its obligations it has a number of committees which meet to make recommendations to Council.  The committees are: planning; finance, standards and audit; amenities and allotments; traffic management; and flood resilience.   As part of its commitment to open and transparent government, the Council plans to put as much information as possible on this website.  We hope that this will provide a valuable resource to members of the public.

In co-operation with the Town Council, Gloucestershire Constabulary are holding a Community Safety Event
On: Thursday 26^th January 2012 Between the hours of 2pm and 8pm Venue: The Lower Town Hall, High Street, Chipping Campden.
Please come along for advice and assistance from the Police Officers on how to make your community safer.
