Camfest, a youth and community festival will be held on the recreation ground over the weekend of the 15th and 16th August.
From 10 a.m. each day there will be free workshops & activities at the Rec. Just turn up – free entry. You can try your hand at crafts like stone carving and hedge laying
Workshops will be held at the Cidermill theatre – book online at Camfest.org.uk. Join performance and coaching for circus skills – juggling, balancing, ribbons and hoops. Martial arts and taiko drumming.
Enjoy food and drink and explore the work of local makers of all ages.
There will be live music and community performers around the festival stage and a barn dance in the evening. Plenty of sporting activities like football and other skills, play Giant Jenga, discover Petanque.
