We are now in a national lockdown (COVID-19)

Batsford Arboretum Update

Jan 8, 2021 | Community Announcements

We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas break, despite the restrictions.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday evening, and out of respect for the NHS and the safety of our customers and staff, Batsford Garden Centre is currently CLOSED. We aim to reopen on Monday 15th February, subject to Government restrictions.

The Arboretum is remaining open daily during lockdown from 10am-3pm for LOCAL exercise for visitors living within a 15 mile radius of Batsford and for Batsford annual members only (we are still accepting new members, but from within a 15 mile radius only for the time being).

As before, day tickets must be purchased online for non-members via www.batsarb.co.uk/tickets (please bring proof of where you live, such as a utility bill, in case you are asked).

Please remember, you must only exercise with members of your own household/support bubble, or, when on your own, with one person from another household.

Please note, the main building will be closed to members of the public (toilet facilities are available outside the main building).

The outdoor coffee hut is open daily to serve takeaway hot & cold snacks and drinks but please do not congregate in this the area – remember Covid loves a crowd!

Please respect our guidelines and help stop the spread of Covid. Once again, THANK YOU for your support and understanding.
