Chipping Campden History Society has a large membership that enjoys monthly meetings and a variety of other activities. The main meeting is on the third Thursday of the month and the Family History Group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. We publish a bi-annual Journal and Newsletter as well as books and pamphlets about the town and its history. We also undertake research and welcome new members and volunteers to help with projects and in the Archive Room, based in The Old Police Station.

Chipping Campden History Society (CCHS), formerly Campden and District Historical and Archaeological Society, is a registered charity No. 1034379, formed in 1984 “to advance the education of the general public in the history and architecture of Chipping Campden and its surrounding villages”.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the history of Chipping Campden and district.  The current annual subscription is £17 for single UK membership, £25 for double/joint UK membership and £25 sterling for overseas membership.  To become a member download a Membership form and send it to the Membership Secretary, Chipping Campden History Society, The Old Police Station, High Street, Chipping Campden, GL55 6HB
