Local Business Man sponsors Sth African boys Football Team

Feb 8, 2017

Local Business Man, Mike Honour of Mike Honour Lattice Windows, has put himself in the frame for a sponsorship of a boy’s football team in South Africa. He said, “The Cotswolds are such a lovely place to live. I feel very privileged to have lived and worked here for so many years. Jo Carruthers has really inspired me with her commitment to help children in a different and less privileged position. So, I asked if there was something practical that I could do to help.”

Encouraged by the fund raising efforts of his friend, Jo Carruthers from Warwickshire, who has completed the Cape Cycle Challenge for the last three years, Mike was also inspired by the children of Hermanus Waldorf School, which has opened the window of funding opportunity and sponsored the Under 11 football team. After contacting the school, Mike Honour was encouraged to sponsor one of the School’s football teams.
