Local COVID-19 Intensive Care Numbers

There are sadly currently at least 79 people with COVID-19, who are now in intensive care from the local area:

  • 73 of these are in Gloucester Royal Hospital
  • 5 in Cheltenham Hospital
  • 1 other patient at another location in Gloucestershire

The total beds in Gloucestershire allocated to COVID-19 patients is 95.

  • 79 of these have now been occupied
  • 16 beds remain

Once these beds are full patients would then need to be transferred further afield such as to Bristol or the Nightingale hospitals.

Cases in Chipping Campden

We do know that there are some positive cases of COVID-19 in Chipping Campden and indeed some people have been in contact with these individuals.  Please be assured, they are self-isolating at home in accordance with Government guidelines.

This news should serve as a reminder to us all as to why it’s so important that everybody acts responsibly for, and towards, one another during this time.
