Please Keep to the Footpaths

Jun 8, 2021 | Community Announcements

Please Keep to the Footpaths. We have been asked by a number of local landowner to remind the public to keep to public footpaths. This is to protect crops and to protect wildlife in the margins. Some owners have reported signs placed to remind walkers to keep to footpaths have been torn down and discarded in the hedge rows.

Please follow the Country Code, pick up after your dogs and take all your rubbish home with you. In Chipping Campden recently, a number of cows had to be slaughtered after ingesting dog mess which made them abort their calves.

Much appreciated,
PC 2201 Nick Westmacott
